Marlon Rainer— a proud son, devoted father, and loyal friend — whose life was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Born on September 11, 1973, in Jackson, Tennessee, Marlon attended public schools and graduated from Jackson Central-Merry (JCM) High School, where he was voted “Most Attractive.” He carried that title with confidence, charm, and a signature sense of style. Marlon was known for his quick wit, huge heart, and unwavering loyalty. He had a gift for making people laugh and a quiet strength that lifted others in tough times. His passing alongside his beloved mother is both heartbreaking and beautiful — a powerful reminder of their unbreakable bond. He was a man of many passions. Marlon loved fishing — sunup to sundown, out on the water, coming home ten shades darker with stories of the big catfish he caught. That boat was his peace. He also had a true gift for cooking. Whether shirtless in the kitchen with grease popping or by the grill with music playing, Marlon threw down with soul. His BBQ was legendary — flavorful, loud, and full of love. Marlon’s pride and joy was his low rider truck. You always knew he was coming — music booming blocks away, old-school jams turning heads. He didn’t just drive — he made an entrance. That truck, that sound, that swagger — that was Marlon. Over the years, he worked as a truck driver, a fireman, and eventually found his true talent in construction. He was completely self-taught, and there was nothing he couldn’t build or fix. Marlon had hands that could create anything — a rare gift matched only by his work ethic. His greatest joy in life was his family. Marlon was the loving father of Brent, Alexis, Alecia, and Aleia Rainer. He lived for his children, doing whatever he could to support and protect them. His love was deep, and his presence will always be felt in their hearts. Marlon’s lifelong friend Patrick was more like a brother. He had been with the family since high school, always just a phone call away, always showing up with love, loyalty, and support. Their bond was rare and real. Marlon Rainer lived fully, worked hard, laughed loud, and loved even louder. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered — in every loud song, every good meal, every fish caught, and every story told in his honor. Marlon leaves behind four children: Brent Rainer, Alexis Rainer, Aleia Rainer, Alicia Rainer, five grandchildren: Richie Clark Jr, Alyssa Clark, Nieces and nephews: Mercedes Rainer, Tyler Harper, Justin Clark. Great nieces and nephews: Makaya Rainer, Mariah Harris, Makenlie Harrie, Madisyn Miller, Avery Harper, Noah Harper, Aulani Harper, Harmony Harper. In a deeply moving and extraordinary turn of events, Nell passed away on the same day as her beloved son, Marlon Rainer, Their bond in life was powerful and the love between them will live on in the hearts of all who knew them.
