Ms. Frances M. Perry

Frances M. Perry was born in Humboldt, TN on December 29, 1955, and lived a life defined by faith, family, friendship, and fearless pursuit of her dreams. She peacefully transitioned on February 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to shine through all who knew her. At an early age, Frances accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Community COGIC, where she remained a faithful and devoted member until her passing. Her faith was the foundation of her life. It guided her decisions, strengthened her through challenges, and shaped the compassion she so freely gave to others. Frances was educated in the Crockett County Public School System and later earned a degree in Organizational Management from Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee. Her professional career began in sales at South Central Bell in Jackson, Tennessee, where she spent the majority of her working years. During her time there, she formed lifelong friendships with a special group affectionately known as the “Bellsouth Beauties,” who continue to gather and celebrate the bond they built together. After taking early retirement in 2009, Frances proved that dreams have no expiration date. In 2011, she pursued a childhood aspiration and became a flight attendant with Omni Air International. From Ireland to Dubai and countless places in between, she traveled the world with the same smile that once lit up her hometown. Her leadership skills quickly elevated her to supervisor, where she faithfully served until February 2026. Yet for all her professional success, Frances’ greatest title was simply “Mama” and “G-Mommy.” Her family meant everything to her. She celebrated loudly and loved deeply. She was her children’s biggest cheerleader and her grandchildren’s greatest joy. Frances was the life of every party and lit up every room she entered. Her smile was contagious, her laughter unforgettable, and she had a rare gift for making each person feel uniquely seen and loved. Whether through a warm embrace, encouraging words, or simply her joyful presence, she made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children: Carlos (Tabatha) Perry of Jackson, TN; Erika (Reginald) Dupree LeCounte of Memphis, TN; Leah (Harold) Love of Nashville, TN; and Perry (Whitney) Dupree, Sr. of LaVergne, TN, bonus daughter Felicia Taylor (Nashville, TN). She also leaves her siblings: Willie Perry, Bernita Perry, Edward Thomas Perry, Melvin (Janie) Perry; brother-in-law Freedale Coleman; grandchildren: Taylor Perry, Dallas Hopkins, Skyelar LeCounte, Priya Dupree, Willow Dupree, Perry “Sonny” Dupree, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie C. Perry; her sister, Mary Coleman; and her nephew, Terrence Perry. Frances Perry’s life was a beautiful testimony of faith, perseverance, joy, and unconditional love. Though she will be deeply missed, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
