Myra Isolar Swanson was born December 13, 1943 to the late B.H. Hillsman and Anna Mary Phillips in Milan, Tennessee. After a long illness God called her name on June 16, 2016. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Atwood, Tennessee. She attended Webb High School in McKenzie, Tennessee where she was known for being a good basketball player. She was preceded in death by her oldest sister Gloria Parker of Chicago, Illinois. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons: Jarvis (Gwen) Bell and Tyrone Bell both of Jackson, Tennessee and Markil (Clara) Bell of McLemoresville, Tennessee; one daughter: Delisa Tolliver of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters: Transquilla Pate; Addie Gass and Brenda Word both of Atwood, Tennessee; two brothers: Murry (Connie) Hillsman of Cedar Rapdis, Iowa and Ben Hillsman of Raleigh, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Miriah Bell of Memphis, Tennessee, Chelsea Bell of Antioch, Tennessee and Tony Tolliver of Chicago, Illinois. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
