Ms. Mary C. Greer

Ms. Mary Cornelia Greer, was born on September 21, 1946 in Luray, Tennessee. She born to the late William Robert Phelps and Phyllis (Harmon) Phelps, she was one of seven children. She departed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022. She attended Vincent High School in Henderson, TN. She worked for several years at State Industries in Ashland City TN. She participated in the Foster Grandparent program at Southwest Head start in Henderson, TN. She was loving and giving to her family and friends. She was a loyal member of the Broad Street Church of Christ in Lexington, TN, where she regularly attended Sunday services and Bible Study. She was preceded in death by sisters; Alberta Davis, Elerener Edmundson, Elma Katherine Sweatt; Gladys L. Cornish and Virgie Mae Phelps and granddaughter: Kenya Northington. She will be greatly missed by her sons: William Lynn Phelps of Lompoc, California and Robert Thomas Greer of Nashville, TN; grandchilden: Nikkea Gillspie of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kenny Phelps of Idaho, Ashley Phelps of Utah; Sean Davis and Nala Phelps both of Lompoc, California; sister: Hilda Bernice Greer of Dickson, Tennessee, nieces: Gwendolyn Pincham and Charlotte Phelps both of Henderson, Tennessee, Karen Gail (Billy) Greer of Clarksville, Tennessee, Deborah Greer and Tracy Greer both of Dickson, Tennessee Lana Greer of Smyrna, Tennessee; Nephews: Larry Neal of Indianapolis, Indiana and Maurice Greer of Dickson, Tennessee. A host of Great Nieces and Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
