Mr. Mario "Yo" Cox
October 1, 1979 - September 2, 2017
Mr. Mario Lamar Cox fondly known as “Yo” was a special man who will always be remembered as kind, giving, caring, fun, loving, helpful, friendly person who was always smiling even during the roughest times. Although he won over everyone’s heart Mario’s perseverance was seen past the highest mountains. In knowing Mario, we all know that his faith in Christ was everlasting. These attributes truly epitomize his earthly existence. Above all he was the Tennessee Titans biggest fan. Born in Jackson, Tennessee (Madison Co.) October 1, 1979, he was the third of five siblings born to the late Dwight Alton Pearson (Blimp) and Betty Ann Cox-Warlick (Worm). “Yo” was a 1998 graduate of Jackson Central Merry High. After which he matriculated to auto mechanics. As a youth, he united with Berean Baptist Church and later worshipped with family at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. When endowed with adequate health he indulged with his passion of working on cars. He enjoyed talking to friends, restoring vehicles and watching his favorite team play, GO TITANS! He touched the lives of many and served those in need, “Servant of God well done, rest from thy loved employ- The battles fought, the victory won, enter into thy Master’s joy.” Those left to rejoice in his unselfish life are his loving family, son, Lavasea “Vasea” Bailey, daughter Nautica Cox; three brothers, Anthony (Kimbeyan) Fuller of Jackson TN, Cedrick (Carmen) Cox of Acworth, GA, Keith Cox (fiancée Alex Hill) of Jackson, TN; three sisters, Clouddette Cox (fiancé Michael Tomlinson) of Chattanooga, TN, Tiffany Turner of Killen, TX and Alexis Beasley of Jackson, TN, God Brother Antwaun Anglin of Nashville Tn and Children’s mother Felicia Bailey of Lexington, TN., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
