Margaret Rita Rice was born on May 31, 1968, in Humboldt, TN, to Margie Clark and Herschel L. Rice. On Sunday morning, January 30, 2022, God walked out into the garden and picked one of His roses and said, “My child, you are tired. Your work here on Earth is done. Come home and rest in peace.” She attended public schools in Jackson, TN. She professed a hope in Christ at Spring Hill Baptist Church. Ms. Rice worked most of her life until her health wouldn’t allow. She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Mrs. Minnie Alice Clark, Mr. R.T. Clark, Mr. Archie Lee Rice, and Mrs. Annie Bell Rice; and great-grandparents, Ms. Annie Holt and Mr. John D. Rice. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Margie Clark of Jackson, TN; father, Herschel L. Rice of Beloit, WI; two sons, Eric Rice of Jackson, TN, and Andre Rice of Lexington, TN; two sisters, Sharon Rice and Linda Rice, both of Jackson, TN; two brothers, James (Regina) Rice and Lonnie (Charisma) Rice, both of Jackson, TN; three grandchildren, Brooklyn Douglas of Brownsville, TN, Adreonna Rice of Lexington, TN, and Kingston Rice of Jackson, TN; eight nieces, Kierra Rice, Akiya Cox, Taliyah Rice, Tanyiah Stovall, Aiyannah Rice, Alayshia Rice, Aubree Rice, and K’Mia Rice; and one great-niece, Londyn Long. Margaret also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish her memories.
