Mrs. Mamie L. Muse

Mamie Larkin Muse, born fifth of nine children to the late Archie and Laura Larkin on January 7, 1931 in York, Alabama. She attended the public schools in York and Livingston, Alabama. Mamie accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the early age of ten, while attending her great-great grandfather’s church, Fourth Creek Baptist Church in York. Upon relocating to Jackson, she joined Macedonia Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. She was married to her love Parnell Muse and to this union, one daughter was born. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 6 sisters, 4 brothers, a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Janice D. Muse of Jackson, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
