Johnathan Maurice April 26, 1993, God blessed Sandra and Johnathan Gayden with a baby boy born in Brownsville, TN. He departed this life May 8, 2020 in Memphis, TN. Raised in a God fearing home, Johnathan accepted Christ at a young age as his personal savior and was baptized at Greater Height Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Jerry (Bertha) Montgomery, Sr. Johnathan Maurice Gayden, Jr was a man of prosperity, love, and motivation. He attended Lincoln Tech and received a Diesel Mechanic license. Later he then became the CEO and operator of Prosperity Trucking, LLC. Not only was he a dedicated employer, caring family member, but Jonathan was “the BEST uncle” who assisted in rearing his nephews. He was indeed a caring individual and friend to many. The impact that he had on their lives was beyond measure. A man with unconditional love whom many had a chance to witness. Preceding him in death were two great-grandmothers Esther Lee Gayden and Geraldine Taylor; grandmother, Elizabeth Williams; brother/best friend Tereon Taylor A void remains in the heart of his devoted loving, and caring mother Sandra (Tony) Houston of Jackson, TN. Father Johnathan (Shunda) Gayden of Brownsville, TN; his loving sister Kaswayla (Patrick) Clark, Keyondra Gayden, Kyreka Gayden, and Kamille Gayden all of Brownsville, TN; three stepsisters. One brother Derrick Love, Jr of Jackson, TN; one stepbrother. Two special nephews Brayden Bobbitt and Elijah Bachelor. One grandmother Loutisha Richardson of Jackson, TN; a grandfather William T. Johnson of Jackson, TN; a step-grandfather, William Williams, Sr of Stanton, TN; two aunts Tina (Alex) Smith of Jackson, TN and Shavon (Timmy) Smith of Brownsville, TN; two uncles Albert Richardson, Jr of Brownsville, TN and William Williams, III of Memphis, TN. A child he loved as his own, Aaliyah Gayden of Jonesboro, AR. A host of great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
