Mr. Jimmie D. Pearson

February 13, 1950 - January 8, 2022

Mr. Jimmie D. Pearson was born February 13, 1950 in Madison County Tennessee to the late Arbie Dee and Dorothy Mae Pearson. The Lord God giveth; the Lord God taketh away, blessed by the name of the Lord. On Saturday, January 8th God saw fit to call his son Jimmie, to his eternal resting place. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Carmel C.M. E Church of Spring Creek, Tn. He attended East High in Jackson, Tn and obtained his high school diploma. Immediately after graduation he joined the United States Army and continued to serve our country in the National Guard. Upon completion of his military duties, he became a production worker. He worked at several factories in and around West Tennessee including Milan Arsenal and International Papers in Jackson, Tn. Jimmie enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and cruising the city. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arbie Dee and Dorothy Mae Pearson, his pride and joy, daughter: Jimette LaFonda Pearson McCurry; sister: Virginia Ann Anderson; brother: James Frederick Pearson and sister-in-law: Linda Kaye Pearson. He leaves to cherish his memory his son: Orlandos Rutherford of Jackson, Tn; one stepdaughter; Kittia Glenn of Nashville, Tn; four grandchildren: Keyounce McCurry and Nyrobi McCurry of Jackson, TN; Orlandos Rutherford ll and Kade Rutherford of Jackson, Tn; two step-grandchildren: Briana Glenn and Sadarius Clark of Nashville, Tn; great-grandchildren: A’Niylah Helms of Jackson, Tn; four siblings: Brenda (James) Clark of Jackson, Tn; Dorothy (Reverend William) Martin of Jackson, Tn; Tommy (Carolyn) Pearson of Denmark, Tn; and Clarence (Trenna) Pearson of Semmes, AL; brother-in-law: James Anderson of Jackson, Tn and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
