Mr. Jack Potter Jr.

April 21, 1947 - March 16, 2022

Jack Potter, Jr. was born on April 21, 1945 in Cocoa, Florida to the union of the late Jack Potter Sr. and Adleasea Hardin Potter. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of the United States Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Potter was a hardworking skilled carpenter and businessman until his health failed. Mr. Potter is known throughout the community for being , hardworking, and a formidable chess opponent. On April 27, 2013, he was united in holy matrimony to Joyce Ann Johnson His memory and legacy will embrace the hearts of those whose path was intertwined with his. One adored sister, Hazel Potter of Boston, Massachusetts and two admired brothers, Theodore Potter and Timothy Potter preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife Joyce Ann Johnson Potter; six children: Tonya Tillery of Boston, Massachusetts, Reginald Potter of Waco,Texas, Jacqueline Potter Hancock of Marion, Arkansas, Jason Potter, Sr. of Marion, Arkansas, Byron Potter of Jackson, Tennessee, and Jennifer Potter of Duluth, Georgia. Fifteen grandchildren: Quinlon Potter, Simeon Tillery, Christopher Carpenter, Rejene Potter, Kilan Murry Jason Potter Jr, Jared Hancock, Kaymond Neal, Arriyonnah Potter, Miriam Hancock, Ashanti Neal, Jayden Potter, Allyscia Potter, Jennesis Potter, and Jennessa Hudson as well as five great granddaughters: Kaitlyn Potter, Kilana Murry, Noelle Smith, Morgan Tillery, and Liayah Potter; two sisters, Joyce Potter Barnes of Panama City, Florida and Loyce Potter Liberty of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition he leaves a host of special aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
