Mr. Gregory Shaw Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Gregory Earl Shaw was born in Jackson, Tennessee on January 8, 1952 to the late Mr. Joe Daniel Shaw and Mrs. Mary Frances Shaw. He departed this life on February 5, 2017 at Forest Cove Nursing Facility. Gregory gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He received his education in the Madison County School System. Gregory was employed with the Jackson Madison County General Hospital for several years and the Department of Transportation for twenty-four years until his retirement in 2007. Gregory was united in matrimony on Saturday September 9, 1972 to his sweetheart, Mary Jane Snipes. To this union three children were born. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mary Jane; three sons, Gregory Barnard, Randy Lamonte, and Marcus Terrell; granddaughter Markeyvia; one sister in-law, Barbara Shanklin; two brothers in-law, Harry Lee Brooks (Bernice) & Robert Brooks (Earlene); eleven siblings, Vivian Johnson, Lexington, TN, Hunter Richard Newbern (Ann), Lexington, TN. Thomas Shaw, Chicago, Ill. Eva Stovall (Joe), Memphis, TN., Robert Shaw, Nashville, TN., Samuel Shaw, Union City, TN., James Shaw, Charles(Deborah), Mary Frances Swift, Michael Shaw(Diann), Ricky Shaw all of Jackson, TN., and a host of several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
