Mr. Damarius L. Clay Sr.

Damaris Le Jon Clay, Sr. was born on June 16, 1980 to Clement Lee Bond and Sharon Elise Clay in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He departed this life on August 23, 2019. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. He attended Madison “Mad Dog” High School where he was a member of the Football Team. He enjoyed Music, Football, Basketball and spending time with his family. At the age of 18, Damaris moved to Jackson, Tennessee in January of 1999, that’s when he met Kiva Jackson. They later united in Holy Matrimony in February of 2009. He was preceded in death by his father: Clement Bond; mother: Sharon Clay; grandmother: Minister Ova Jean Dean; uncles: William Clay and Will Henry Bond. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Kiva Clay of Jackson, Tennessee; daughters: Kira Clay, Kaylyn Clay and Kennedy Clay; sons: Damaris Clay, Jr. Clement Jackson, Isaiah Clay and Damarion Clay; grandchild: Damaris Clay, III; step-father: Raymond Jones of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; step-mother: Deborah (Anthony) McDonald: sisters: Stacia Clay of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Taraneika Brandy of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers: Darrien Clay of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and D’Angelo Womack of Pontiac, Michigan; aunts: Shirley Clay-Nixon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Perline Bond and Patricia (Robert) Merriweather both of Jackson, Tennessee; uncles: John Wayne Bond and Jasper Bond both of Jackson, Tennessee; mother-in-law: Carla Jackson of Jackson, Tennessee; father-in-law: James Mallett of Chicago, Illinois; two childhood friends: Dennis “Zeek” Pierce and Johnny “Boss” Ruffin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
