Mrs. Olivia Croom

Willie Olivia Pack Croom was born on June 9, 1931 in Chester County, Tennessee, to the late Robert Lee Pack and Callie Ora (Liddell) Pack. Our Heavenly Father granted peace and rest to her on Sunday, November 16, 2020 after an extended illness. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Oak Grove Church of Christ. She later placed membership at the North Henderson Church of Christ where she remained an active and faithful member until her illness. Olivia attended school in the Chester County School System. She worked at Chester Manufacturing for 34 years, a day care center for 10 years, and was a Foster Grandparent with Southwest Human Resource Agency for 20 years working at the Head Start Center and one year at East Chester Elementary School. She was recognized by Southwest Human Resource Agency for being a dedicate volunteer, not missing any days until she was hospitalized. She enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for loved ones, fishing, gardening, reading, traveling and caring for her children and grandchildren. Olivia was joined in holy matrimony to Robert Lee Croom on September 20, 1948. God blessed them with forty-three years of marriage. To this union, seven children were born. Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Croom; her parents, Robert and Callie Ora Pack; three brothers, Robert Pack, Jr., Levy Leroy (Fat) Pack, and baby Bobby Pack; one sister, Joyce Pack Underwood; a grandson, Brandon Howard; a great-grandson, Nicholas Johnson; two special aunts, Mandy Garland and Jessie Minnie Edwards; nephews, Bobby Pack, Jr. and Larry Pack. She leaves to cherish her memory: four sons, Stanley (Pamela) Croom, Steve (Ethel) Croom of Henderson, TN, David Croom (Dorothy) of Nashville, TN and Dennis Croom (Traci) of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Linda (Charles) Howard, Sandra Croom (Ralph) of Henderson, TN, and Willie Sue (Charles) Brooks of Sikeston, MO; twenty seven grandchildren, seventy nine great-grandchildren and twenty four great-great-grandchildren; six sister-in-laws, Alice Askins, Reba Croom, Linda Croom, Bonita Croom, Allie Pack, and Annabelle Pack; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Croom and a host of nieces, nephew and cousins.
