Mr. James David Bennett Jr.

James David Bennett Jr., (Always Known As: Super Dave) entered this world on September 21, 1975. He departed on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Dave was a loving son, uncle, cousin, and very dear friend. He left many family and friends with his love and care. Dave's voice will always remain through his favorite saying "hey baby". He loved his family and friends more than anything. His mother is his everything. She was always the first thing he thought of and talked about everyday. He always helped and comforted his family and friends in the best way with love and absolute care. Dave was born and raised in Washington D.C. He was born to Delories Hardin Bennett and the late James Bennett Sr... He was the oldest son of the family. Dave loved his siblings and always spoke about them with pride. He was a member of ROTC at McKinley High school in Washington D.C. He graduated school and moved to Henderson, T.N. where he remained his life to help and care for his grandmother. While living in Henderson, he worked in manufacturing and catering. He has left behind many coworkers and associates in service. Dave took pride in his work and always wanted to do a good job. He is loved by many and missed by all. Dave's smile always lights up a room. He was a positive and uplifting person. Dave was a member of Cool Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He sang in the choir and always volunteered to help the elderly and church events. He liked to have a good time and love and fellowship. He never liked for anyone to hurt or have sorrow. Dave loved to bring joy to the world. James David Bennett Jr is remembered by his precious and loving mother Delories Bennett (Washington D.C.), his siblings Jessica Mcilwain, Derrick Bennet (Laura), Damika Bennett, and Malcolm Bennett. He was caregiver for his grandmother: the late Cornelia Hardin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: George Hardin, Carrie Bennett and Joe Bennett. Dave leaves precious nieces and nephews: Breon, Chela, and Demari Mcilwain. Also: Eugene, Denzel, and Jalen Daniel. He leaves a niece Rickita Bennett and a nephew: Brandon Bennett. He has many great cousins as well whom he referred to as "his angels". He has three godchildren: Cierra Pearson, Malaysia Fisher, and Jakiyah Simpson. He also leaves behind a very special friend, Jillian Ballard.
