Mr. Ernest Charles "EC" Meadows

Ernest Charles Meadows “EC” was born to the late Lottie Mae White and M.C. Meadows in Jackson, Tennessee and was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Walter L. White. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. Ernest attended school in Madison County and later graduated from East High School. Throughout most of Ernest life he worked as a Security Guard for Maxx Guard and served as a Constable for Madison County. He was well known and deeply loved by everyone that knew him. He also helped and touched many hearts during his lifetime and led people to Christ. He leaves to cherish his memories the mother of his children, Julie Meadows Wynn; his children,Cassandra Meadows, Vee Charles Meadows, Felicia Meadows, Sherron Meadows, and Tonga Thomas; his sisters, Rosie (Paul) Cheairs, Mary (William) McCorkle, and Alice Robinson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was a distinguished professional with a multifaceted career spanning various domains. Initially appointed as a Special Agent by the American Police Academy in Washington, DC, he played a pivotal role in the International Intelligence and Organized Crime Investigative organization. Over the years, Meadows has honed his skills through extensive training in law enforcement, martial arts, natural herbs, counseling, and Christian studies. His diverse expertise led him to attain the status of a Master Herbalist, Spiritual Counselor, and ordained minister from the Universal Church, with a special recognition of Sainthood from the Church of the Gifted. Meadows’s remarkable journey includes courageous acts, such as his intervention during a fire incident highlighted in the Jackson Sun Newspaper, where he aided a distressed fireman amidst a chaotic situation. His prowess in martial arts has not only facilitated encounters with renowned figures like Bill Wallace but also earned him a black belt and instructor degree in the fighting arts. Transitioning into the realm of private investigation, Meadows obtained licensure and contributed significantly to the operations of Lax Security and Detective Agency. His dedication to public safety led to commendations as a security officer and special police officer, endorsed by the Chief of Police. Meadows’s commitment to service extended to roles as a trusted bodyguard for numerous Ms. Tennessee Pageant recipients and a transformative presence at the Alternative School in Jackson, Tennessee, where he positively impacted the lives of many students. Notably, his exemplary leadership was acknowledged by Senator McKnight during a local high school football game, emphasizing Meadows’s reputation as a deterrent to trouble. At Lane College, Meadows’s tenure evolved from security officer to residential counselor and Chief of Security, demonstrating his adaptability and leadership capabilities. Additionally, his civic engagement includes serving as Constable over District 1, Position 2 in Jackson, Tennessee, and earning prestigious recognitions such as inclusion in Who’s Who in American Law Enforcement and an accolade for Outstanding Leadership from the Tennessee Constable Association. As a Lifetime Member of the International Police Association and the National Constable and Marshall’s Association, Meadows’s contributions to public safety and his compassionate demeanor have left an indelible mark. Known for his adeptness in crisis intervention, philosophical insights, and inclusive nature, Ernest Meadows embodies the ethos of a dedicated professional and a friend to all.
